Refund policy

These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases made from PartsByTopher LLC through our website, invoices, quotations, and other authorized sales channels. By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these Terms and Conditions. Please review them carefully before purchasing.

Product Availability & Supply Chain Disruptions
Product availability may be affected by manufacturer production schedules, supplier availability, international transportation, customs processing, and other circumstances outside our reasonable control. Availability and estimated lead times are not guarantees unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.

Shipping
All orders will be shipped to the address provided during payment, unless otherwise specified in writing. We are pleased to offer complimentary shipping costs on some of our products to be delivered within the United States. However, not all products are eligible, and are subject to change at any time. 

Lead Times:
We are pleased to offer a wide variety of products from various manufacturers. Generally, products will ship from their respective distributor/manufacturer to the customer directly. With such a variety of products available, lead times will vary depending on the product. Please reach out if you have questions on lead times, prior to ordering. Some products may be stocked locally, and ship within 2-3 business days, however, others may have to be ordered and carry longer lead times. We will reach out to you after placing an order, to provide an estimated lead time when possible. 

Pricing
All pricing is subject to change at any time. While we do our best to maintain product pricing across all of the unique products and brands we carry, errors can occur. In the event a pricing disparity occurs after a client places an order, the order will not be fulfilled, and the customer will be contacted with the new pricing information prior to fulfilling. The customer will be given the option of proceeding with the order by paying the difference, or cancelling outright. Refunds are subject to the policies outlined in the "Cancellations & Returns" paragraph. 

Cancellations & Returns
Many of the products offered at PartsByTopher, are built to order. All cancellations/returns will be handled on a case by case basis and at the sole discretion of PartsByTopher LLC. Please note, we do not accept returns on any special-order products, products that have been installed, products that have been modified, products sold internationally. 

"Special-order products” include products sourced, imported, manufactured, configured, painted, programmed, modified, reserved, or otherwise procured specifically for a customer, as well as products identified as special order, made to order, or non-returnable on the applicable product page, quotation, invoice, or order confirmation.

Any item not bearing a stock quantity on the product listing is considered a special ordered item.

For those products PartsByTopher LLC has granted returnable, Items may be returned with a valid return authorization provided. We reserve the right to deduct a merchant processing fee of 10%, in addition to shipping costs, to the refund. All refunds will be issued either directly to the original payment method, or issued as store credit. 

Damage
Each situation will be handled on a case by case basis. As a guideline, we advise customers reach out within 24 hours of delivery, to report any issues with their order. Please keep all packing related materials as they were delivered/received.

However, PartsByTopher LLC is not liable for shipping carrier related issues/damages. Each scenario will be handled on a case by case basis.  PartsByTopher LLC will do our best to assist with carrier related claims, however we assume no liability/guarantee on behalf of the carriers.
 

Delays
In the event a product is delayed from its original estimate of delivery, we will do our best to deliver within an expedited timeframe. Special orders are not eligible to be canceled. 

In the event a customer requests an expedited shipping method, and the carrier fails to deliver within the allotted time frame, we are not liable for the shipping costs, and would advise reaching out to the shipping carrier for further escalation. 

In the event a backordered part is holding up an order with several other items, the order will not be shipped until all products arrive. If the client desires shipping the arrived parts out, additional shipping costs will be the responsibility of the buyer.

Usage
Items purchased through this website are all intended for off-road use only.  Customers accept that all items purchased through PartsByTopher LLC are intended for off-road use only.  Fitment of non-factory original safety, braking, lighting or any other non-factory original equipment is solely at the customer's discretion and any injury/death resulting from fitment is solely the customer's responsibility.  Any situation arising from or liability occurring from the use of any item purchased from PartsByTopher LLC is solely the customers responsibility.

Product Fitment 
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate vehicle information, including VIN, model year, model, market, trim, engine, drivetrain, production date and installed options. Fitment assistance is based on the information supplied and may not account for prior vehicle modifications, market differences, production changes, superseded part numbers, coding requirements or retrofits. A recommendation does not guarantee plug-and-play installation unless expressly stated in writing.

Product Installation
Products must be installed by a qualified professional familiar with the applicable vehicle and product. Some products may require coding, calibration, component protection removal, wiring, adaptation, additional hardware or vehicle modification. Unless expressly agreed in writing, PartsByTopher is not responsible for installation, removal, diagnostic, programming, storage, towing, rental-vehicle or loss-of-use expenses.

Warranty
Except for any express written warranty separately provided by PartsByTopher, products are sold with only the manufacturer’s warranty, if any. Manufacturer warranties are governed solely by the manufacturer’s terms and eligibility requirements. PartsByTopher may reasonably assist with an eligible claim but does not control the manufacturer’s decision. Warranty coverage does not include improper installation, misuse, unauthorized modification, motorsport use, accident damage, normal wear or damage occurring after delivery. 

Liability
PartsByTopher LLC is not liable for damages arising from the purchase, sale, installation, modification, use or fitment of products sold.  All customers must use reputable installers for installation of all items sold by PartsByTopher LLC.  PartsByTopher LLC holds liability only for the value of the product sold.  Items must be installed as intended and any use otherwise releases PartsByTopher LLC from further liability.  Items manufactured by a third party and sold through PartsByTopher LLC will result in zero liability for PartsByTopher LLC, contact the third party for claims or issues arising from standard use of third party product.  Removal of all or partial new car warranties due to installed items purchased from PartsByTopher LLC will result in zero liability.
