The 2.7T engine as supplied in the B5 S4 and C5 S6/A6/Allroad was plagued with a low quality plastic after run coolant pump, they tend to leak and sometime even explode. To complicate matters, the pump is located underneath the intake manifold and can take hours to change. High HP cars don't need it if you're sensible about cooling down the car, in cars that need it its a great idea to re-locate the pump to an easier to reach location.

Please Note: The 034Motorsport Silicone 2.7T Auxiliary Water Pump Delete Hose is the only proper solution on the market for deleting the auxiliary water pump. Simply plugging off the factory lines will result in NO coolant running through your turbos.
